ActionMK, a company specialising in market research and marketing consultancy, is looking to take on an intern to take part in a tourism research project in Málaga.

Key features

The main role will involve conducting face-to-face surveys with tourists at various locations in Málaga and the surrounding province. The successful candidate will receive training in fieldwork, data collection, questionnaire management and the coordination of research projects.

You will also be able to take part in events and gradually take on greater responsibilities within the project.

Desired profile

This opportunity is primarily aimed at students on the Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Market Research.

We are looking for someone who is sociable, outgoing, responsible and decisive, with a proactive attitude, good communication skills and a natural ability to work with the public.

What we look for in a candidate

  • A minimum level of B2 in English and German.
  • Ability to hold a fluent conversation with tourists in both languages.
  • Willingness to work on-site, mainly at weekends.
  • A driving licence and your own car to travel to the various survey locations.
  • Flexible working hours and a willingness to travel within Málaga and other towns in the province.
  • Ability to work independently and meet the set survey targets.
  • Good communication, organisational and customer service skills.
  • Applicants will be asked to provide a CV and proof of their language proficiency.

Prior experience of conducting surveys, interviews or customer service work will be an advantage, as will knowledge of French, Italian or other languages.

Terms and Conditions

  • Start date: September 2026.
  • Initial duration of three months, with the possibility of extension.
  • Part-time or half-day work.
  • Paid work placements.
  • Initial training, participation in events and subsistence allowances where applicable.

Prospects for continuity

Internships are designed as a period of training and induction. If the intern demonstrates commitment, responsibility and the ability to meet objectives, they will be able to continue with the company and gradually take on the management of the main project.
